In a previous letter from Reddit user OK-Atmosphere 7655, he had ordered a video gamer, GeForce RTX 5090, on Amazon, the Netherlands, and found the package filled with groceries and an old graphic card. OK-Atmosphere7655 states that he chose Amazon because the retailer was famous and because he had had a good shopping experience. The Amazon store classified the card as a “new” commodity, which was shipped by a Spanish retailer and stopped at several stops. Ok-Atmosphere responded that he had found the Amazon to overcome it and provided photographic evidence, as required, to return the packaging and its contents to inspection. As of now, Ok-Atmosphe had not received a response from the Amazon, and he was not optimistic about the possibility of receiving a refund from the Amazon. In fact, this is not the first card fraud in the Amazon. As early as 2022, a Brazilian user purchased a RTX 3080 via the Amazon Brazil station, and when he received the package, there was nothing but a graphic box. When the case was opened, several cans filled with sand were found. The Amazon did not initially provide much assistance to the Brazilian user until the latter filed a lawsuit against the United States consortium in the Brazilian Small Claims Tribunal, a matter of national concern.
