The Mobile Game Payment and Direct Marketing platform Appcharge announced that its annualized transactions had exceeded the $1 billion mark. This milestone was reached at a time when game distributors were increasingly seeking to reduce their dependence on the traditional application store billing system (30 per cent of shops).

According to Appcharge, since the completion of the $58 million B round, the value of its platform transactions has more than doubled in six months, reflecting a turning point in its so-called straight-on liquidity strategy. The company had previously reported annualized processing transactions of $500 million in July 2025, increased to $700 million in January 2026, and subsequently crossed the $1 billion threshold. Appcharge estimates that head issuers lose approximately $41 million per day for platform costs. The company currently supports more than 150 mobile games worldwide, including King, Huuge, Trippedot Studios and SciPlay.

According to Roy Barasi, co-founder and general manager of Appcharge: “Moving games are now entering a new phase, and distributors no longer see straight-link consumers as an experiment, and it is becoming a central part of their liquidity system.” Earlier this year, Appcharge opened a new office in Istanbul as part of its international expansion strategy to strengthen relationships with studios in one of the fastest-growing mobile ecosystems worldwide.
